My Highway 4

On the 1^st of July 1982, traffic began to flow on the FT4 East-West Highway. One of the biggest projects the JKR undertook was the building of the highway, and with its completion, the nation’s vast network of roads now has even more miles of road, allowing for the infrastructure for development projects as well as the access needed to new areas. The first phase of the highway construction was completed by JKR employees, while contractors completed the bridges and some auxiliary work. The second phase of construction was completed entirely by contractors.
